Memorial Day is upon us and most Americans will have a BBQ, get drunk, and play in the pool. All great events that mark the start of the Summer.
I am having a BBQ today and RamRod started a new tradition in my house hold. He gave everyone coming a homework assignment. Find a family member who gave the ultimate sacrifice for this nation and tell everyone about him.
GREAT IDEA!!! RamRod was shocked at how many people responded positively to the idea and I really believe my friends have learned a lot about there own families.
I wonder how many people will actually say anything at their BBQs about the fallen hero's they are supposed to be celebrating on their Memorial Day vacation?
I wonder how many people actually know that Memorial Day is supposed to be a day for remembering our fallen veterans?
My family and friends will be remembering and will be introducing a new tradition that I will pass on to my children and them to theirs.
Have a great Memorial Day and at the very least have a moment of silence for those who can not be with us because they died defending our freedom and no matter what day it is remember there are still those men and women who are currently in the trenches defending us.

Travis Murphy
Our hearts and respects go out to the family of fallen Phoenix Police Officer Travis Murphy.
I was woken up by my mother yesterday morning asking if my best friend and fellow shooter, RamRod, was working last night and if he was okay. Knowing his schedule and his precinct I told her he wasn't working and that the shooting didn't happen near his area.
However, it is always nerve racking waiting to hear from him after a shooting. Police do not truely have borders so they can be operating any where in the city and sometimes the state.
These men and women go out into a world that is just civilized enough for us to think its safe. But the police know the truth and there is no defense against an ambush like the one sprung on Travis Murphy.

WTF!?!?!?!
- Obama sends token force of troops to the border. 2000 miles of border = 1500 troops. Please read my previous post on when numbers lie. I also doubt the troops will be armed and nothing will change.
- Border Patrol currently has a hiring freeze on. Went to a graduation party this last weekend and my cousin told me her husband was accepted into the Border Patrol but was waiting for a start date due to a hiring freeze. Priorities anyone???
- Oil hitting the beaches in the south, President is getting pissed, Dems blaming Bush. I don't blame Obama for the oil spill, never blamed Bush for the problems in Louisiana after the Hurricane. Safety regulations is one thing I think the government should be involved in and they need to get their act together. I am getting sick of hearing about gov workers watching porn and not doing their jobs.
- White House attempts to bribe retired Admiral to get him to not run against party switcher, Republicans want heads, Democrats say no blood no foul. Blogovich is not around to blame for this one so who did it?
- Spec Ops publicized. Really???? Yo Taliban, WERE COMING!!!! But secretly!!! I am getting sick of the media announcing our troop movements. Do they think the Taliban and Al Qaida don't read the news?
- Drug wars in Jamaica and Mexico. Who is to blame? America's gun laws of course. More excuses for bad behavior.
- Arizona - SB1070, Ethnic Studies, and teachers with accents, what else can we take on???? All are worthy battles, I just worry that it's too much for the hanky stompers to handle at one time. My hope is that it brings the true racists (La Raza, Brown Berets, Immigrants without borders, etc) and their agendas to the surface.

Numbers that lie
It is a crying shame to think that numbers can betray you. 2 + 2 always equals 4. Our dependency on technology demands that 2 + 2 always equal 4. In certain applications 2 + 2 does equal 5 or what ever certain people want it o.
I used to believe that numbers do not lie. In business if a new product is going to make you more money than it costs it is a viable product, if its going to bring in a lot more money than it costs it is a great product. I often thought that the same should go for government, if the numbers show that it is cheaper to do A than it is to do B than you do A.
My wife quickly set me straight on how numbers could easily lie. She deals with it daily in her job as an auditor. It all depends on the person putting the numbers together. Didn't take me long to start thinking of Enron, Tyco, the financial crash, etc.
In college, I had a tough time with statistics and I think I now know why. Statistics are not always black and white. Statistics have a standard deviation, skew, and slant. The slant is all about how the statistics are collected.
Polling is the worst part of statistics. Polling is the accumulation of answers to certain questions producing a percentage of who thinks what on such and such a topic. Those questions can be asked in different was eliciting a different response to essentially the same question.
Ethical political polling takes an enormous amount of integrity, discipline, and you guessed it, ethics. There is a reason we do not believe a poll taken by AOL, Facebook, or any cable news station. They are biased by the people who visit or watch those sites.
It is why a poll on Foxnews always supports a conservative agenda, while MSNBC polls always support the liberal agenda. Anyone who ever claims that 75% of America believes something because they saw a poll taken BY a cable news channel or any news channel, you should promptly punch them in the nose.
The reason for this late night diatribe about how numbers betrayed me is that I found a poll showing that a majority (51%) of Americans are scared of people who openly carry guns in public. The polling went on to show that Americans are scared of other gun related things as well.
I could not find a margin of error or anything else on this poll. I did find that company who performed the polling was hired by the Brady Campaign.
Okay Okay, I was trolling the Brady Campaign website and found this poll on the front page.
The polling company, Lake Research Partners, has a long client list and you will recognize quite a few. Those I recognize are all liberals aka Democrats.
Here are the big ones:
I am sure the conservatives aka Republicans also have their shill polling company too.
The thought I want to express is this: If these people truly believe in what they are saying then why don't they use a reputable company to perform their polling?
If certain ideologies always use a particular polling company there has to be a reason. That reason is they always provide the results the group hiring them wants to see.

Calderon admonishes America and gets a standing ovation for it.
I watched this live and it disgusted me. In our own house he talks down to Americans, specifically Arizonans, and is applauded by SURPRISE SURPRISE democrats.
The hypocrisy is so amazing it literally hurts my heart to think that any American buys into this crap.
He berates us for attempting to protect ourselves, our border, our jobs, and our economy while at the same time having laws so strict that they make SB 1070 look like a hug. You will find every rule in SB1070 and in our federal law in Mexico's immigration law and then multiply the penalty by 10. In addition, Mexico doesn't have any rule against discrimination. Any law enforcement official in Mexico can stop some and ask for ID.
But the truth is, I don't care what Mexico does as long as it does it without affecting us.
The truth is Calderon needs Mexicans working in the US illegally because his budget counts on it. Mexico will go broke if we got rid of all the illegal aliens in America.

Thanks To 3 Senators, China Entrenched In Iraqi Oil For 20 Years
We did all the work liberating Iraq, preventing a full blown civil war, and what do we get?
You libs should be happy though, apparently we didn't go there to rape Iraq for its oil.
We gave blood for NO OIL, NO PEACE, NO STABILITY............................
Thanks To 3 Senators, China Entrenched In Iraqi Oil For 20 Years
by Steve Schippert
This story might slip right past you. It’s understandable, considering most Americans have no idea of the context or how it happened that the state-owned China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) is now set for 20 years in Iraq, thanks to a deal just inked between the Iraqi government and Communist China. The Iraqis originally selected America’s Exxon-Mobil. I’ll wager you probably didn’t know that. You’ll want to read on. But brace yourself.
It’s the classic American political tale of self-loathing crafted by the usual suspects. With its government firm and its security at its post-surge best, the Iraqi government needed to quickly bring its oilfields online. It desperately needed the revenues. The summer of 2008 saw oil prices above $100 per barrel and Americans were paying $4 per gallon at the pump.
The best in the business – the best in the world – is Exxon-Mobil. And the government of Iraq turned to America’s Exxon-Mobil to bring undeveloped and underdeveloped fields online to rejuvenate its own revenue sources and ween itself and its people off of American aid.
But three American Senators would have none of it. Senators John Kerry (D-MA), Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Claire McCaskill (D-MO) sent a public letter to the Bush administration’s Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice, imploring her to derail the Iraqi deal. (See: ‘In China We Trust’: Senators Closed Door to US Oil Investment In Iraq.) As the Senate troika stated, “It is our fear that this action by the Iraqi government could further deepen political tensions in Iraq and put our service members in even great danger.”
You see, these three American Senators insisted that Iraq shall have no revenues until it passed an oil revenue sharing law that met their distant standards. Or at least, Iraq should have certainly had no additional revenue. Their letter was dismissed out of hand in Washington. But in Iraq, the desired consequences of the letter took hold. The Iraqi government became spooked as the reportage of the letter turned, as one would expect, into wrangling and infighting by those seeking to leverage it to their advantage in the hotly contested revenue sharing process.
And there was “Big Oil” political gamesmanship afoot amid the 2008 presidential elections. As Fred Kagan noted at the time in The Weekly Standard, Claire McCaskill made no real bones about it. “It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to connect these dots–big oil is running Washington and now they’re running Baghdad. There is no reason under the sun not to halt these agreements until we get revenue sharing in place,” McCaskill said. Claire McCaskill knows a thing or two about not being a rocket scientist.
But there were at least two “reasons under the sun” not to halt Iraq’s deal with its preferred American operator. The first “reason under the sun” was the Iraqi government itself, which did not include McCaskill or Kerry or Schumer as part of the “we” who were working on the internal Iraqi revenue sharing agreement. The second “reason under the sun” was China, which would be quite happy to exclude the American senators from their share of the oil and revenue a deal would happily generate.
Remember, Iraq was desperate for income; and oil is, was and will be for some time it’s primary resource. There was no time – nor a need – to wait for a final agreement before beginning to rebuild its oil industry. From the Iraqi perspective, despite the myopic gaming of American politicians, there was no reason under the relentless Iraqi sun not to sign a deal – immediately – with some other willing, unconfined partner.
So what did Iraq do? It governed itself where it could do so without the meddling of the Kerry-Schumer-McCaskill Troika. If these American Senators wanted to make a big stink about its selection of Exxon because it was an American firm, Iraq would turn elsewhere. And who stepped up? China and it’s China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC). Name ring a bell? That’s because CNOOC is the Chinese state owned arm that tried to buy America’s Unocal. And Marathon. And Hess.
China told Iraq essentially, “We’ll do it, we’ll do it now, and we’ll do it without griping about what you do with your share of the revenues.” Deal. And who could blame the Iraqis?
And that, from 2008, is how we got here in 2010. In an era where the nations of the world are competing ferociously for resources, the usual suspects lead the American retreat. And that one simple letter from three dangerous senators weakened America’s energy and economic security and strengthened China’s by equal measure for twenty years and probably many more.
China, you see, is now “in” in Iraq. China’s “in” in a lot of places, taking advantage of American weakness borne of an American self-imposed taboo status of oil and the vilification of the American oil industry itself.
In March, Andy Olbermueller explained how China, via CNOOC, is “(Not-So) Secretly Buying Up World’s Oil Reserves.” Olbermueller prefaces his piece as “a brief three-part history and economics primer.” The second part stands, however, as a warfare primer as executed by the Chinese today.
Countries don’t colonize anymore. Today, if the British Empire needs tea, tobacco or beaver pelts, it buys them for cash rather than sending the Royal Navy. If the French need rubber, ivory or timber, they import them rather than functionally enslaving the Congo.
And if Red China needs oil, it doesn’t send Chairman Mao’s army (Proud motto: Every man a private), it sends a state-owned company.
That company is CNOOC (NYSE: CEO). And it is on the march.
Recently, CNOOC — China National Offshore Oil Company — sealed a ten-figure deal to acquire a third of the massive Tullow find in Uganda, a region thought to contain several billion barrels of oil. CNOOC is also developing a 2.5 billion-barrel field in Iraq. And late last year CNOOC inked a deal with Venezuela to gear up production in a field in the eastern part of that country.
Now, after several British firms say they’ve found oil in an area north of the Falkland Islands in the South Atlantic, CNOOC has spent $3.1 billion to buy a stake in nearby Argentina, Bolivia and Chile.
“Unrestricted Warfare” was more than just a passing thought published by two Chinese colonels in the Peoples Liberation Army. It was a strategic response to the American dominance of the Gulf War that has been adopted as grand strategy.
China is the most aggressive energy pursuer on the planet. And they apologize for nothing. They recognize the competition afoot and the limitations of resources. And from where America retreats in the competition from resources, the Chinese happily fill the void. China is bold and, with a new deal with Cuba to drill in the Gulf of Mexico, very close to our own shores.
If there are concerns with the safety, operation and oversight of American and British rigs in the Gulf of Mexico, what level of environmental comfort is to be drawn when the newest rigs drilling there are stamped “Made in China”?
With all of that in mind, be sure to thank Senators Kerry, Schumer, and McCaskill for weakening American economic and energy security while strengthening China’s for the next several decades. For them, the withdrawal from Iraq was about much more than troop levels.
You libs should be happy though, apparently we didn't go there to rape Iraq for its oil.

Worlds Turned Upside Down - Actor speaks a conservative message
It is not often that Conservative Hollywood speaks out. They are fearful to do so because of the backlash from the majority of liberals in Hollywood.
We have Mr. Pedophile/Incestuous Woody Allen calling for Obama to be a dictator so things can get done (things he thinks should be done), we have Danny Glover and Sean Penn visiting and praising Hugo Chavez, and the View has 4 liberals to 1 conservative which might be a better average than truly is represented in Hollywood.

82 yrs old woman and other defend themselves with hand guns in Arizona
82year old woman defends herself with a gun while being beaten with her own cane.
A man allegedly burglarized a vending machine and fled from police in his vehicle. The suspect cracked his axle but continued to drive away. He stashed the car near an elementary school, which was placed on lockdown as police scoured the area. “As they were searching the area, they heard a pop,” said Phoenix Police Sgt. Tommy Thompson. The sound they heard was the report of a nearby homeowner’s shotgun. The suspect entered the home and demanded money and car keys. In fear of his life, the homeowner fired his shotgun, killing the suspect. (The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, AZ, 01/27/10)
The incessant ringing of her doorbell woke a woman from her sleep. She looked through the front door peephole and saw someone in a hooded sweatshirt outside continuing to ring the bell. Police say the woman ran to the bedroom, got her handgun and dialed 9-1-1. As she returned to the front door, a second hooded suspect emerged, sprinted to the door and kicked it. His foot busted a hole in the door, knocking down the woman. She looked through the hole and saw the suspect preparing to run and kick the door again, so she stuck the barrel of her handgun out of the hole and fired two shots. The suspects fled the scene and are being sought by police. (KNXV-TV, Phoenix, AZ, 02/11/10)
A man wasn’t home when an alarm indicated a possible break-in. He quickly called his neighbor, Gaylon Crawford, and asked him to check on the house. The neighbor noticed a door was forced open and the lights were on. Once inside he found two men wearing dark clothing. Police said the men claimed they were retrieving their tools, but Crawford didn’t buy it. He drew his handgun and told the men to put their hands up and wait for police. Instead, one of the men charged Crawford, who shot him. The suspects fled. The wounded man was arrested when he sought treatment for a gunshot wound at the hospital. His accomplice is still at large. (White Mountain Independent, Show Low, AZ, 03/09/10)

More proof of the true intentions of protestors against border security.
These people are not illegal aliens, they are American Citizens who want to take back land they believe was stolen from Mexico.
I still can not figure out why anyone would want more land for Mexico when the land Mexico runs is so horrible.
Scared yet?

Brown Berets
These guys have been showing up at the protests and intimidating people with their military appearance. Research and their own worlds make it apparent that they are recruiting soldiers and their website states that they are military organization.
I have said it before on this blog that there are Chicanos (this appears to be their preferred moniker) that wish to take back their ancestors land that was taken from them by the great white devil (aka Europeans).
They do not plan to do this, openly, by armed conflict. They plan do this by politics and using our laws against us. By us I am referring to Americans. Americans, as they are referred to today, may have started off as Europeans, but our culture is so much more vast than any one European nation and it has taken the best of every nationality, from all continents, that has joined the Great Mixing Pot.
There is no denying that our past leaders did some shady things to the people who inhabited this land. Unfortunately, I do not know how to make it up to them and to be honest it could have been a lot worse. Harsh words but just look at the history of the human race. We are not a gentle and kind people. You often hear from people that killing is not a natural human trait and to those people I have to ask, what history have you been reading? The only true statement is that the human race has made great attempts to keep at bay it's desire to kill, concur, and dominate.
As usual I have gone off topic. This post is to inform you that there is a threat to the American, all Americans, way of life.
I first learned about it while reading Darrell Ankarlo's book, "Another Mans Sombrero". This book changed my opinion on the illegal immigration issue. I used to think, "yeah they are breaking the law but they are hard ass workers doing what no one else will". I still believe there are hard working illegal immigrants whose only fault is crossing our border illegally. But the way they come here is an abomination and the crimes committed against them can only be stopped by opening the border 100% or locking it down while creating a temporary work system.
Mr. Ankarlo's book also addresses why he thinks (opinion, based on facts) Bush did nothing on the border and about the plot to take back American land by driving up Chicano population, affecting politics, and turning the Southwest into Northern Mexico. Conspiracy theory? I can only hope!!! But the information is out there and it supports his theories.
Below is just the latest group to come to my attention. I will post more as I continue my research.
Just look at the links below to see for yourself. Remember that LA means THE and RAZA means RACE, you will see it a lot. To be fair I have found an explanation on a website that says the literal translation is THE RACE but it means “the people” or “the community.” Regardless, when you see it and how it is used you will know what it is portraying.

Our Nation: Aztlan
All this land belongs to Natives. By “native” we don’t mean “native born” whites, blacks, or Asians, we mean the Native People who inhabited this land for thousands of years before any other human set foot on this continent or hemisphere. Chicanos lay a claim to this land in the undisputable fact that Native blood runs through our veins. Our ancestors are Mexica, Maya, Tolteca, Yaqui, Navajo, Lakota; thousands of Native tribes that were hunted, destroyed and pushed to the edge of extinction by European invaders; Spaniards and Portugese in the South, British and French in the north. We emerge now as a new breed, a mixture of all Native Nations and tribes. Out of many we are One, we are the Chicano Nation! With this we claim our Birthright, Aztlan is our Inheritance.
This Border that was placed here by American invaders was another idea of theirs to hedge us in, to divide and conquer us. We do not recognize or respect any foreign imposed border. We do not respect anyone who invades and yet dares calls its Natives “illegal”. Aztlan is our homeland, where we belong. We will reclaim it according to the ancient prophecies, and we will from henceforth determine our destiny.
The real illegal immigrants on this continent are the white Europeans that crossed an entire ocean, not Mexicans. Mexicans are descendants of the Mexica and other native tribes. We are not Hispanic, which means we come from Spain; neither are we Latino, which means we come from Italy. The amount of contamination of European blood on our people is a drop in the bucket compared to the hundreds of millions of Natives that inhabited this hemisphere. The majority of us are predominantly Native and it is that blood that ties us to and cries out for our land! By them calling us Hispanic or Latino they try to tear us away from our identity and our land. Therefore we reclaim our identity as Chicanos and reclaim our nation Aztlan.
Though we live in occupied territory we carry a dual citizenship. One is of the foreign invaders that occupy our lands and enslave our people. The second is our Citizenship in the Nation of Aztlan, our true nation. Aztlan is a nation that is truly free, no oppression, no predatory capitalism that enslaves the population. We are a nation that is created by Raza, for all our Raza. We accept those of other races to dwell with us in peace, to seek happiness and the well being of their families. We are a nation that values our families, our faith, and our unflinching call to honor and dignity. We believe in the full restoration of all tribal lands to the Native Nations that dwell within our borders. We believe in freedom, justice, truth and the Chicano Way of Life. Somos Aztlan!!

VIVA LOS SUNS but Jackson takes away a win in my book
I have copied and pasted an article so that I can highlight the highlights.
Jackson comments on Ariz. law trigger protest
by Associated Press (May 17th, 2010 @ 3:47pm)
LOS ANGELES - Los Angeles Lakers coach Phil Jackson refused to criticize Arizona's new immigration law, triggering a backlash among activists who plan a protest outside Staples Center on Monday night.
Jackson was asked two weeks ago about a plan by the Phoenix Suns to wear their Los Suns jerseys during a playoff game on May 5, Cinco de Mayo. The immigration law spurred the Suns' decision to use the jerseys to honor Arizona's Latino community.
``Am I crazy, or am I the only one that heard when the legislators said that 'we just took United States immigration law and adapted it to our state?''' Jackson responded.
When the reporter suggested that Arizona had usurped federal law, Jackson corrected him. ``It's not usurping, they just copied it, is what they said they did, the legislators. Then they give it some teeth to be able to enforce it.''
The biggest questions about the law center on how it could be enforced without leading to racial profiling of Hispanics and without alienating residents in Hispanic neighborhoods with whom police have spent years trying to build trust.
The law, which is scheduled to take effect July 29, has triggered protests and prompted several cities to boycott Arizona businesses. Los Angeles is the largest of those cities.
``I have respect for those who oppose the new Arizona immigration law, but I am wary of putting entire sports organizations in the middle of political controversies,'' Jackson said in a statement issued Monday.
He said he hoped his statement would not be used by either side to rally activists.
Activists want the Lakers to put on the Los Lakers jerseys they wore for a game on March 21 and in years past to honor Hispanic fans. Lakers spokesman John Black said those jerseys will not be worn during the playoffs.
``We will not be getting involved in choosing sides among our many different support groups in any debate, nor will we be getting involved in political issues of this nature,'' Black said.
``Our focus and goal at this time is on basketball, winning games, and hopefully winning another championship, which we feel the vast majority of our fans want us to focus on,'' he added. -sorry but it is the Phoenix Suns' Year!!!

Requested Videos
Fluffy requested the second part (I found it in three sections on youtube, the foxnews embed wouldn't work) of Glenn Beck:
Ytraps requested the actual footage of the MSNBC clip beck references in a previous post. He couldn't find it and I will admit it wasn't as easy as looking up something on Fox News. My theory is that Fox News isn't embarrassed by its shows. I couldn't embed the video but here is the link:
http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=1177093168050
For anyone else who would like more info about someting I post on the blog, all you have to do is ask. Of course, you could also make an attempt to look it up yourself. You will be amazed at what you will find. The internet is a wonderful thing and google makes it easy.

Homework assignment
I was talking with a guy I work with who is Filipino. He is American with no accent but does have brown skin and looks more Hispanic than Pacific Islander or Asian.
I asked him if he was concerned about SB1070. He said, “I guess I could be [harassed].”
What I got out of the conversation was that he only new what he had heard through the media or through people talking about it around him. He then asked me some questions about the bill that I thought were great and I think I cleared some things up.
His final question was, “what are people upset about then?”
I had no answer as I did not want to get into my conspiracy theories with a coworker.
So here is the home work assignment.
• Talk to your friends who either are Hispanic or look Hispanic.
• Ask them what they feel about the law.
• Ask them what they know about the law.
• You do not have to try and convert them; just find out what they think and what they have been told. Are they different?
• Are they self educated about the bill or are they simply spewing out what is being presented in the media.
• I am especially interesting in hearing from people who look Hispanic and have accents. If anyone was going to be profiled it would be them.
• Ask them if they are comforted in the fact that they only need to show a drivers license to prove they are a citizen.
• Ask them what they would do differently.
Extra Credit:
• Give someone the information needed to change their view on the subject.
• Find someone who will admit it’s not about profiling and more about taking back the land for Mexico.
Get to work Shooters and make a difference in your immediate circle of influence. You may not be able to change the world, but you can make a difference in your circle of influence.

TESTIMONY OF DAVID J. STODDARD ON ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION - February 22, 2002
I verified this on snopes.com http://www.snopes.com/politics/soapbox/borderpatrol.asp. Snopes was on it because of an email that David Stoddard sent to Senator Frist that was passed around the internet. Snopes confirmed the email and added the testimony below.
Mr. Stoddard sees this thing as it is and that is an invasion. I can not agree with him more!!!
TESTIMONY OF DAVID J. STODDARD, SUBMITTED TO U.S. SUBCOMMITTEE ON CRIMINAL JUSTICE, DRUG POLICY AND HUMAN RESOURCES, REPRESENTATIVE MARK SOUDER, CHAIRMAN.
February 22, 2002
Sirs:
My name is David J. Stoddard; I am a resident of Cochise County, Arizona. I served my country for 30 years, first as a soldier in the U.S. Army and then as U.S. Border Patrol Agent for 27 years.
I have no personal interest in illegal immigration or in U.S. drug policy except as a patriotic citizen of the United States. I am not being paid or influenced by any entity whatsoever for my testimony submitted to you this day.
There has been a great deal of debate recently over needed changes in U.S. Immigration Law. The United States has the most liberal immigration policies in the entire world. Our laws are designed to protect the American public from criminals, subversives, terrorists, disease, the insane and from those who are likely to become public charges. There are no U.S. laws designed specifically to exclude any deserving person from legally immigrating to the United States. Any person may legally immigrate unless he or she falls within an excludable class. This is for the public good. If existing laws were enforced as intended, there would be no need for new laws.
Currently the United States admits more people as immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers than all the other countries in the world combined. Right now one-fifth of the U.S. population is a foreign born or dependant child of foreign born residents. Since the 2000 Census, the population of the United States has increased by 3 million people according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
According to various Mexican media and official Mexican government sources, the country of Mexico has 18 million of its citizens residing illegally in the United States at this very minute. Mexico claims to have 30 million persons of Mexican decent in the United States. I have no reason not to believe these claims.
According to official U.S. I. & N.S. estimates, Mexicans comprise only 54% of the total number of illegal aliens within the United States. Again, I have no reason to dispute these figures. I hope this gives you some kind of perspective as to the great influence illegal immigration has upon our society.
Since I have lived and worked on the Mexican border all of my life, I am most familiar with the problems presented by illegal Mexican immigration and I would like to focus on that aspect.
-According to former Chief of Police, Ruben Ortega, 80% of the street level drug dealers in Salt Lake City, Utah are illegal Mexican Aliens. I believe we can extrapolate that percentage to any major city in the Southwest.
-According to the U.S. Bureau of Prisons, 24% of those incarcerated in the United States are foreign born, most of them Mexicans.
-According to the California State authorities, that state must build the equivalent of one grammar school a day in order to accommodate the population growth of school aged children, again, largely due to illegal immigrants, most of whom are illegal Mexicans.
I submit to you that Mexico has instituted policies which encourage its citizens to sneak into the United States.
For example:
-Mexico has discontinued the government subsidies for propane, diesel, tortillas, beans, electricity, housing, bread and commodities for poor people.
-Mexico has opened additional consulates in practically every state in the union in order to assist its citizens obtain U.S. benefits, "rights" and to assure legal help in the instances of "discrimination" in employment, law enforcement and in any other legal matter.
-Lawyers retained at the behest of Mexican officials quickly take civil action against any U.S. citizen who chooses to protect himself or his property against illegal Mexicans. This is designed to deter any interference by U.S. residents in the free flow of aliens and drugs across our borders.
-Mexican school children, from the primary grades, are taught that the United States "stole" (from Mexico) the land now called California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Colorado and Utah. Furthermore, these children are taught that were it not for the United States "stealing" California and the gold therein, that Mexico would be a superpower today. I have heard that with my own ears. That is no exaggeration.
-The President of Mexico actively encourages its citizens to illegally emigrate to the U.S. and in fact frequently refers to those who do so as "heroes".
-I can give you the names of eight high-level Mexican politicians who have left office in the last decade with a minimum of $700 million each. These ill-gotten funds could have been used for the good of the Mexican people.
Based on the above facts, I see no reason for any change in U.S. immigration laws. But I see a great need for change in the way Mexico imposes upon the United States. The American people are expected to provide free medical care, housing, education, food and other basic needs to illegal Mexican aliens. These are all services that should be provided to our own elderly, handicapped and poor.
I do see a need to alter the way in which the United States administers its immigration laws however.
Currently the same administrator dictates enforcement and services. Under Doris Meissner, the INS became a service-oriented organization because Ms. Meissner considered all aliens, legal and illegal as her "clients". Enforcement under the U.S. Border Patrol became non-existent except for a narrow corridor along the border. This encouraged illegal aliens to keep trying until they were successful in traversing that corridor beyond which they could live and reside as long as they wish and do whatever they want, while the services branch of INS does everything it can to make their status legal. This status quo has not changed under INS Commissioner James Ziglar.
This is a schizophrenic approach, which does not, never has and never will work. The INS must be separated into two agencies, one to provide services and the other for enforcement purposes. The U.S. Border Patrol must be allowed to do its job in strict accordance to the law without regard to political correctness and without regard to state, city and local boundaries. This is the only way we can remain a sovereign nation. We cannot allow a foreign nation to dictate our immigration policy, which is the current standard. Either an alien has legally entered the United States or he has not. The legal alien is entitled to benefits and services. The others are not. Every single person who has sneaked into this country made an informed decision to violate the laws of this country and has accepted the risk of detection and deportation. None of them should be allowed to reside in the U.S. without first exiting and making a legal application for entry in order to screen for criminals, the insane, subversives, terrorists and disease.
The U.S. Border Patrol simply cannot handle its mission under present restraints. Its job is to protect the American public and preserve the sanctity of our international borders. That cannot be accomplished while our borders are over run by aliens of every nationality and while bureaucrats place unreasonable restrictions on how agents operate.
-I urge the immediate deployment of U.S. military troops and equipment on our borders to seal them against those who would cause us harm. This could be only a temporary measure to allow us to regain control to again become a sovereign nation.
-I urge the separation of the U.S. Border Patrol into a separate agency responsible for the detection, interdiction, arrest, prosecution and/or deportation of drug smugglers and illegal aliens. An experienced enforcement officer whose primary purpose is to protect America and American citizens must run this separate agency. That separate agency must have its own budget and control its own spending. This would assure that the law enforcement agency doesn't have to dance like a puppet at the whim of a non-law enforcement entity with an agenda of its own operating the purse strings. A professional law enforcement agency must be in total control of enforcement, (with Attorney General and Congressional oversight, of course), or political special interests will exercise undue influence as has been the case with the Border Patrol for the last 78 years.
I realize I cannot be more specific and detailed due to time restraints, so I respectfully submit this to you at this time.
Sincerely,
David J. Stoddard
Mr. Stoddard sees this thing as it is and that is an invasion. I can not agree with him more!!!

Sincerely,
David J. Stoddard

Another Post About Illegal Immigration
The past couple of weeks have been pretty crazy and a lot of it is happening in Arizona. We have people protesting the enforcement of laws, boycotting our state for implementing the same laws the federal government has, we have ranchers being shot, cops being shot, and LOS SUNS dabbling in the arena of politics.
All the while the libtards out there are screaming racism, because that is the only argument they have and it's the only argument that makes people react. Call anyone a racist and it makes them feel the need to prove they are not. It is an affective method. The next best thing is to compare things to Nazi Germany. Always the go to no matter what side of the fence you are on.
But some are not fooled by the out cry. Some can see it for what it is. The people protesting do not care about America or laws or law abiding citizens. They do not care if the bill has been amended to make sure that racial profiling is strictly prohibited. They do not care that "Show Me Your Papers" = License and registration please.
They know that key words bring strong reactions. Show me your papers, is reminiscent of the Nazis or Soviet Russia. Ironically, the later is what a lot of these people want to bring about.
Boycott Arizona is the new platform and it is being implemented by all the libtards cities in America. Cities I hate to travel to and just being in them makes my skin crawl. San Fran, Boston, LA, Portland (I actually like Portland) and even some cities in Arizona.
I for one am willing to pay higher taxes to subsidize the lost revenue from the boycott. I am not voting on Prop. 101 but would vote for a bill titled, Prop. 125: The Arizona Tax increase and giving the middle finger to those who boycott us proposition. The title is a bit lengthy but it will get the message across.
So what is the true mission of the protest organizers?
They want an open border. They want to reap the benefits of Americans past but piss on the culture that made it so. They want to bring in more people with their hands out begging so they will vote them into more power. They want to invade us.
Pick one or more, hell pick them all. I am sure one of those fits each of the groups leading the protests. It is the only thing that makes sense. You constantly hear these people saying we need comprehensive immigration reform yet they protest anything that is not amnesty.
Some of them come out and say exactly what they want aka IMMIGRANTS WITHOUT BORDERS. Making the USA the only country in the world with no immigration laws.
Do not be fooled people. Do not succumb to the taunts of being a racist. You know if you are a racist or not. Being pro immigration reform and strict enforcement of immigration laws does not make you a racist. There are more ways to wage war than with guns and when it comes to the wars without guns America usually loses. We are a kind and generous people and it is our greatest weakness. We can not allow ourselves to be used and invaded by people who have no inclination to join our society and in a lot of cases only wish to destroy us or take us over.
Ironically, the only place that leads is America becoming just like the country these people couldn’t survive in or their culture of corruption destroyed, forcing them to flee for the safety and success that the American culture so aptly built.
